Orkidyas Earrings

From the 2023 Dreaming of Clay x Kasama Rum collection, the friendship lives on here at LAROWAN. These elegant Orkidyas earrings feature an orchid flower, with green Miyuki glass beads and natural freshwater pearls. It now comes in three different styles, asymmetric (original), studs and double dangling. 

The story behind the 2023 collaboration

Kasama founder, Alexandra Dorda’s mission has always been to provide excellence in the rum category and uplift and empower small Filipino-owned businesses through thoughtful and brand-aligned partnerships. Together with Jea Tang, founder of the handmade jewelry brand Dreaming of Clay (now under LAROWAN), the two are able to express their pride for the Philippines in a unique and festive way during the 2023 holiday season. Jea discovered Kasama and Alexandra after listening to her episode of Filipina on the Rise, a podcast by Krystl Fabella and the two were able to meet at an event in Orlando in May 2023. Jea gifted Alexandra a pair of her earrings, and Alexandra immediately interested in collaborating with Jea to create a thoughtful holiday collection inspired by the Philippines and the spirit of Kasama. Because of the two brands' dedication to their craft and artisanal approach to both rum-making and jewelry crafting, the partnership was a natural fit.
